This Bosch Serie 2 Freestanding Microwave features AutoPilot 8 for effortless cooking. Just add the weight of the dish and press “Start”, AutoPilot then takes over and determines the cooking mode, temperature and duration. It even switches off the program towards the end of the cooking time. As some dishes with the AutoPilot require the use of ovenware with a lid, the interior walls also stay clean. Cooking couldn’t be simpler.
Another feature is the favourite setting where you can save your preferred settings by choosing the desired time and wattage and then pushing the star button - you will never have to select it again. Quick start is another time saver - the microwave starts at maximum power for 30 seconds - for easy handling and powerful performance.

Happy new owner
I always buy my appliances from AO so when our microwave made its last turn I knew where to look. I had narrowed down my search to 2 and chose this one because of the grill option as my family like grilled cheese on toast. I was a bit confused when the product specs indicated I’d need a special type of plug to be bought elsewhere (sounds like a hassle), but figured I’d work it out. Anyway, when it arrived and the delivery peeps proceeded to open the box there was no need to panic as all required parts were included. **Can I suggest that info is changed or clarified on the product listing?** It’s a sturdy machine and does what’s required. The grill function is ok, but I’ll probably need to experiment a bit more with the length of time to get perfect grilled cheese on toast. I love the quick 30 second start feature. I’m not a huge fan of the time dial, I’m used to typing in the minutes and seconds, but that’s just a personal preference and in the grand scheme of everything going on in 2025 really not an issue. The end chime is a little too long for my liking. I do like the push open button for the door. Our previous microwave had a pull open door and the door eventually got pulled off and a very specific manoeuvre was required to open the door for the next few years.

Service poor, not as advertised, no installation at all, box just left on floor, can’t use as plus part missing!
