Don't bother its disappointing
I find the cooking ring area is way too small and everything sticks in the middle and is too cool outside of the inner ring. Im so very disappointed with it. Tried cooking two smallish steaks last night the outside of them wouldn't cook and then when you put the temp up it says it's too hot. frustrating to say the least. I Bought this as my gas stove top isn't working well and thought this would be a great interim product.

Great unit let down by poor design/build quality
The right hand side just stopped working - twice! The first time the unit was still in warranty (it was after 9 months - unit had hardly been used). I got a replacement and after 15 months (again very little use) the second one has had the same thing happen - the right hand side just does not turn on. This time I opened the unit as I thought it must just be a fuse or equivalent given it just did not turn on, but everything looks in perfect order with no visible scorch marks on the PCB at all so I don't know what has gone wrong.
